X——表示处理器的最大可伸缩性(Scalability,当服务的负载增长时,系统能被扩展来满足需求,且不降低服务质量)。例如:
100系列可配置单处理器(1-way)服务器及工作站平台; 200系列可配置双处理器(2-way)服务器及工作站平台; 800系列可配置八个处理器(8-way)服务器及工作站平台。
YY——表示同系列处理器的性能高低,例如型号为244的Opteron处理器比242型号性能要好,如此类推。
HE——表示这是一个55W的低功耗Opteron处理器,相同XYY的处理器性能是一样的,是否有HE只是区别工作电压而已。
