这里我们可以更清晰的比较两代四核的性能——Yorkfield vs. Kentsfield。在主频方面,Yorkfield要高出13.6%,而成绩方面Half-Life 2相差21.8%,Cinebench则达到25%。DivX 6.6测试中,由于支持SSE4指令集,其性能提升高达111%。
通过以上简单的测试,我们可以基本了解Penryn的性能水平。在同频率下,Penryn比Conroe至少有5-10%的提升,如果考虑频率因素,预计到年底左右,新一代处理器性能将有20%左右的提升。Penryn的对手将是AMD新架构Barcelona,二者真正的较量即将开始。
